Aaron Davis is the founder and software developer behind the MetaMask project. He has a substantial amount of software engineering experience, which he gained in the time he was employed at Apple. While working at Apple he met one of the other founders of MetaMask - Daniel Finlay. They decided to work on their own project, thus creating MetaMask.

Daniel Finlay is a former Apple software developer, and co-lead developer on MetaMask, the world’s most popular Ethereum browser, making the Ethereum blockchain more usable and secure from a desktop browser. Dan met Aaron Davis while they worked at Apple together and they decided to create MetaMask.
