The Nostra airdrop allocated 11 million NSTR (11% of the total supply) to users and active community members. The goal of distributing NSTR to the community was to decentralize the protocol and initiate a governance process.
The criteria were as follows:
Users:
- 10 million NSTR (10% of the total supply) was allocated to 217,789 participants of the Nostra Points Program.
- The snapshot for the end of Points Season 1 coincided with the end of the NSTR Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool on Thursday, 13 June, at 14:00 UTC.
- A total of 217,789 participants, who accumulated 298,715,000,000 points, received NSTR depending on their points.
Active Community Members:
- 1 million NSTR (1% of the total supply) was allocated to reward active Discord members.
- Active Discord members also bagged the Famiglia role for their participation. Anyone who posted 20 or more messages between the server's launch on July 28, 2022, and 11 AM UTC on June 7, 2024, got this role.
- A total of 577 Discord members qualified for the role. (Note: Messages sent in the bg-gm and internal channels did not count.)
- Out of the qualified members, 308 Famiglia role holders submitted their wallets in time.
- The split of the 1 million NSTR was as follows:

500K NSTR was equally split among 308 submitted wallets.

500K NSTR were rewarded proportionally based on the number of messages sent by the 308 Discord members who submitted wallets.

On the day of listing, the NSTR price was around $0.10. The airdrop distribution was proportional to the number of points a user accumulated. So, the more points a user had, the larger their airdrop allocation. The minimum NSTR received started from a number less than one, but for simplicity, we use $1 as the minimum airdrop value. The average maximum reward was up to $320 (3,200 NSTR tokens). Notably, most people who received such a reward were active community members in Discord.
